Uch-Darre is located about 40km northwest of the second and third largest known gold deposits of Iran (Zarshuran and Agh-Darre). The gold mineralization is associated with strongly altered-fractured dacite porphyry with >10% Fe oxides. The circular alteration covers an area 1 km by 1km. Only 10 samples were collected from Uch-Darre prospect and one samples shows 400 ppb gold and the rest are between 20-150ppb. At Uch-Darre one leached altered samples (ETM target) showed 490 ppb gold and the mineralization could be a low sulphidation epithermal gold in character. Second follow up field visit and probably infill systematic sampling is required to define the gold potential of this prospect.
