PROSPECT GEOLOGY The Eocene sequence of pyroclastic, tuff and volcanics intruded by several intrusion phases and one of the phases that could be some last phase cuase porphyry style alteration-mineralization. This phase is quartz-eye porphyry (Dacite in composition).

ALTERATION By field visit and traverse Quartz-Sercite-Pyrite (QSP), Proplitic and argillic alteration are visible in area. Well developed quartz stockworking is visible in QSP alteration that is about 1000x300m. QSP alteration is surrounded by proplitic alteration and some patchy argillic alteration is located in different part of system. Locally quartz veins is wider and silica vein is visible up to 5-10cm. MINERALIZATION This porphyry system is typical leached system in central part of Iranain magmatic arc. The feox content is varying 2-5% and about 3% in average. Geotite and Jarosite are main minerals and locally some Hematite is observed (Fig7). Some green copper staining minerals locally is visible but any sulfide is not seen. Recent mapping of the area is bring to attention that High sulphidation mineralization is occurring close to the porphyry system. A big old working is found in this epithermal system (Fig8) that could be for gold. The new rock samples from this zone are awaiting.

GEOCHEMICAL SIGNATURE The 4 rock chip samples collected from the quarts-goe-jar stockworked leached capping returned up to 116 ppm Cu, 0.1 ppm Au and 123 ppm Mo.
CONCLUTIONS: Although this deposit is located in Iranian magmatic arc but due to leaching of the system was not discovered in past and explored by recent satellite imagery and leached capping interpretation. The field visit by geologist brings out the area on consideration. Obviously some more works should be carrying out on the prospect to evaluate system properly. Our next step of plan will be systematic geochemical sampling and detailed geological mapping.
